About Us
Challenge Consulting was set up in 1998. Our founders and the majority of our people worked together during the 1980s and 1990s at OASiS, the original business performance reengineering management consultancy. In the late 1990s, OASiS was acquired by Sybase, the US software corporation. The decision to establish Challenge Consulting was prompted by an instinctive desire to retain and continue to develop independence of thinking and pragmatism in helping transform business performance. The core ideas, approaches and ways of working that we have now have thus been developed over the best part of 20 years.
The original founders - Chris Cooper and David Welch - both remain with us. Now around 20-strong in consultant numbers, we have grown consistently and profitably in each of the past 8 years.
