The Way We Work
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with client team members in all aspects of transforming business performance - from start to finish, on whatever scale. Clients who have worked alongside us tell us it's the best personal development they have had and we pride ourselves on this feedback.
In the majority of cases we work in very small teams with our clients. In addition to a Programme Director, there are usually between 2 and 5 Challenge consultants on a large-scale change programme.
Depending on the nature of the assignment, we will structure the required activity into relevant Work Streams, where we pair up Challenge and client personnel to complement skills and knowledge. The transfer of skills to our clients is largely gained through hands on experience, but we may use some tools and techniques which require more formal training.
We believe strongly in the importance of good communication as a critical success factor for any change programme - we always start a new assignment with an appropriate induction event to get client team members bought into the reasons for change and the approach to delivering it. Equally important is the timing and rigour of a handover event, so that any responsibilities we held during the programme are fully owned by client personnel by the time we leave.
